Please explain Power of Attorney.

Since you chose to lease your vehicle instead of purchase it, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America is the auto's registered owner. A Power of Attorney authorizes you, the customer, to register the vehicle on our behalf.

New Jersey residents: Please note that the New Jersey DMV will NOT accept a faxed Power of Attorney unless it comes directly from Mitsubishi.

Your DMV may request a State permit/license number and/or our Federal Tax ID number, which is 33-0431467. (It is also required for title transfers.)
