How do I change the name of the lessee on my Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America leased vehicle?

LEGAL NAME CHANGE

We will need to see legal documentation of your name change before adjusting our records (copy of marriage certificate, divorce decree, or other court order). Please send your marriage certificate or recorded divorce decree or court order to the address listed above, and your request will be processed upon receipt.

Change of Officers - Business Accounts

Please provide Mitsubishi with a copy of the minutes of the corporate meeting installing the new officers as authorized signers on behalf of the company. We will complete your request upon receipt of your supporting documents.

Change of Lessee

In order to transfer a leased vehicle to a new lessee, the new person must complete an application to determine credit worthiness for a Lease Assumption. Change of Ownership Due to Death

If the lessee has died, the spouse or other creditworthy party can assume the lease, provided the estate administrator or executor authorizes the change.
