Is there a way to terminate my Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America lease early?

Yes, you can return your vehicle prior to the maturity date of your Mitsubishi lease, although there may be extra costs assessed:

  • Lessees are responsible for paying the difference between the current payoff and the national average wholesale black book value of the vehicle.
  • There may be charges for excess wear and use and mileage; an inspection of the vehicle will be required.
  • Payment of taxes and other charges may also apply.
  • You will be given credit against these charges with any security deposit paid at the start of the lease.


    • You can obtain an estimate by calling 1-866-876-3018. Once final inspection is complete, you'll receive a letter detailing the actual amounts due in order to exit the contract early.

    Once the total amount due is remitted, you may then contact an authorized Mitsubishi Dealer to make arrangements for returning your lease vehicle. Please be sure to obtain a copy of the odometer disclosure statement for your records. Upon return of your lease vehicle, please take a moment to notify Mitsubishi at 1-866-876-3018.
